Sneak Peek...

I went thrifting today and found some really awesome items for the store. I'm really picky when I go because I buy what I would actually buy in real life and the proceed to price items based on age, quality, and how much I would be willing to pay with all of those in mind.

It was a really gloomy day and was storming and very windy. I went before class and spent a good 2 hours in there. 2 hours really flies when your hunting for pretty things :)
Unfortunately, the butterfly coaster was not there. Apparently the vendor packed up all of their things from their booth. I was so upset. It was such a unique item and I couldn't find anything else like it on Etsy. Oh well...

Anyway, here are some upcoming items that I will be listing in the store later on this week...Enjoy!

Silver Plated Cat Ring Holder

Antique Lipstick Holder

Gold Glass Cut Duck Figurine

Vintage Indian Decorative Teapot

English Teacup and Saucer Set

English Bone China Trinket Box

Vintage Glass Powder/Trinket Box

Vintage Oriental Geisha Porcelain Figurine

Vintage Antique Silver Stone Heart Trinket Box

Look forward to these items being added to the store on Thursday evening 11/3 and Friday 11/4.

Hope everyone had a great Halloween!

Thrifting Friday

I went thrifting with my husband on Friday. Woke up and immediately got dressed to visit "Those Were the Days". This was one of the first places I visited when I moved to Missouri because I am immediately attracted to antique malls.

Here are just a few pictures of some things that I found as well as one item that will DEFINITELY be in the shop this week.

I didn't like this one as much to be honest.

THIS. I went crazy over this. This is a plastic coaster set with an actual butterfly on the inside of the top. This WILL be in the store later on this week. I hid this behind some dishes so that I could come back and buy it on Monday.

There are 4 or 5 coasters inside I think.

This looked so silly but awesome.

Hope everyone had a good weekend!

New Items in the Store

I just added 4 new items in the store this evening and have started selling little sachets of 50 vintage buttons. These buttons are handpicked by me and include a variety of colors, shapes, and sizes. Don't worry, I'm not just dumping my hand into the tin and pulling 50 random buttons :)

These little bundles are going for $5.00 a piece and are great for collections, sewing, and crafting.

Yes, 50 buttons fit in that tiny sachet!

I've also been trying to make one of these button coasters but it requires a LOT of patience and it's a little too frustrating of a project to complete at the moment hah...

Here is the link to the tutorial if you want to make your own!

New Etsy Shop

I decided that the best way to give my customers and any admirers out there the first look at items that will soon be in the store would be with a blog. I also had the great idea of maybe bringing my camera along on my thrift store adventures to give everyone the same experience that I had while perusing through dusty vintage treasures. Also, there will be secret sales to customers who subscribe to my blog!

Here are some items already in the shop:

"Mini" Vintage Asian Teapot

A Vintage Hen Candy Dish

Vintage Asian Sugardish

Old bottle with a printed "Poison" label.

A closer look

I hope to see everyone around! Please subscribe for those secret sales and come visit the shop:
